Mrs. Tasnuva Prodhan

Chairperson:
Mother and Children Charity Hospital, Bangladesh

Mrs. Tasnuva Prodhan is a compassionate, generous, and visionary humanitarian whose lifelong passion for helping others inspired the establishment of the Mother and Children Charity Hospital in rural District in Sylhet of Bangladesh.

She holds Honours and Master’s degrees in Science from the National University of Bangladesh. Born in Rangpur, she married Mr. Ubaidul Haque, originally from Sylhet, who generously donated the land and hospital premises to make this charitable vision a reality.

After visiting the remote village where the hospital is being established, Mrs. Prodhan was deeply moved by the suffering of mothers and children who had little or no access to healthcare. With the nearest district hospital over 110 kilometres away, many families faced long, difficult journeys, and some lost precious lives simply because treatment came too late.

Determined to bring hope where it was needed most, she took the initiative to establish a hospital dedicated to providing compassionate, affordable, and quality healthcare for women and children in one of Bangladesh’s most underserved communities.

Mrs. Prodhan believes that every mother deserves a safe birth, every child deserves a healthy future, and no family should be denied healthcare because of where they live or what they can afford. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment continue to inspire hope and transform lives across rural Bangladesh.
